WEEK 8 





1-version
Definition: a form of something that is different from another form of the same thing. .  
Part of speech: noun .
Sentence: I liked the new version of iphone 6 .
Collocation: full version.


2-thereby
Definition: by that, by means of that.
Part of speech: adverb.
Sentence: I felt sick that day , thereby l was unable to move from bed and go with you to the mall.
Collocation: thereby unify .


3- detect
Definition: discover,sense , find out..
Part of speech: verb .
Sentence: The scientist was able to detect the reason for many genetic diseases.
Collocation: detect movement   .


4-enormous
Definition: greatly exceeding from the common size, huge.
Part of speech: adjective.
Sentence: I saw at the park the most enormous ant there could ever exist.
Collocation: enormous range.


5-incidence
Definition: falling upon, rater or range of influence of something .
Part of speech: noun.
Sentence: I recently had an incidence where I had to go to the hospital .

Definition : a total amount of money or profit that is made  .
Part of speech: noun.
Sentence: the total proceeds from out project is  $2000 .
Collocation: total proceeds .


10-convene
Definition: to meet or gather .
Part of speech: verb.
Sentence: Me and my friends convened at the park for our trip  .
Collocation: convene in one of the other .

  1. Check your definition/comprehension of "incidence". It means the number of times something happens. For example, there is a high incidence of illness this school year.
