WEEK 5 





1-ethics
Definition: beliefs, principles, moral code, natural laws, ideal  .  
Part of speech: noun .
Sentence: people around the world have various cultures with different ethics.
Collocation: secular ethics .

2-behalf
Definition: as a representative of or in the interest or aid of.
Part of speech: noun(idioms).
Sentence: the vice principle gave a speech today on behalf of the principle .
Collocation: on behalf of .

3-identical
Definition: similar in every way , agreeing exactly  .
Part of speech: adjective .
Sentence: it was my first time to see an identical twins .
Collocation: identical twins .

4-deduce
Definition: figure out , understand .
Part of speech: verb.
Sentence: the students were not able to deduce how the experiment was done .
Collocation: enough to deduce .

5-restrain
Definition: hold back from an action , arrest , limit an activity  .

  1. Good work here. review collocations for "behalf"; actually, "on behalf of" is the common phrase and collocates with other works, like "one behalf of someone, which basically means "for" someone.
